Day 3 - Gardnerville to San Jose

We start on our way and leave Justin's hometown of Gardnerville. Traveling west past Lake Tahoe, through Sacramento and onto San Jose, passing through a range of scenery including much mountains and forest area.  Somewhere between Sacramento and San Jose, Justin (Pilot) stopped off at his own gas station... amply named "Pilot Travel Center". 

Pilot:  When I went inside an announcement came over the loudspeaker that started out with "Attention Pilot customers" ...

We both never expected to find a place with the same name as one of our online names ... next we need to find the Abe Babe store... hmmm, not likely!  Traveling onwards through some beautiful valleys, we finally found our way to San Jose, only to be met with a myriad of one way streets.  This spelt trouble with us quickly becoming lost. Eventually we managed to "find" a motel somewhere... although we still don't know where that could be, as it seemed to vanish as quickly as it appeared.
